How to install your email signature in the new Outlook

The new Outlook for Windows and Outlook on the web share the same signature settings screen. Copy your signature from your personal link, paste it into a new signature entry, then set it as the default for new messages and replies. The layout, colors, and links carry over untouched.

Open the generator
  1. Copy your signature

    Open your personal signature link and click Copy signature.

  2. Open signature settings

    Click the gear icon (Settings), then go to Mail, Compose and reply, or Accounts, Signatures, depending on your version of Outlook.

  3. Create a new signature

    Click New signature, give it a name, then click into the editing box and paste (Ctrl+V).

  4. Set your defaults

    Under Select default signatures, choose your new signature for both New messages and Replies and forwards.

  5. Save and test

    Click Save, then send yourself a test email to confirm the layout and links look right.

They share the same signature settings screen, so these steps work for both. If your account looks different, look for Settings, then Accounts, Signatures.

Signatures set here apply to messages sent from the web and desktop new Outlook. The Outlook mobile app has its own separate signature setting under its own Settings menu.
